Terms of Service
1. A minimum of 50% of the total payment is expected before I begin working on your art piece. This is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. The rest of the payment will be made by or before project completion. Once I receive the second half of your payment, I will ship your completed artwork to you.
2. Payment plans may be considered on a case by case basis, but the product will not ship until payment is completed in full.
3. Refunds will be considered on a case to case basis. The initial 50% deposit is always non-refundable.
4. You must have at least five pictures of your pet for reference, preferably more. This is optional for wildlife portraits, but they are still welcomed.
5. I will send a picture of my completed sketch to you for approval before I begin coloring. You may request any edits you wish at this stage. However, once coloring has begun, only minor edits can be made. If you require a major edit after coloring has begun, I will accept at my discretion for an additional fee of my choosing. I will send another picture of the completed product for your approval before shipping.
6. Rush order commissions will be considered on a case by case basis and accepted at my discretion. A rush order will put your name at the top of my wait list and/or can be completed by a specific date that allows at least the minimum time required to finish the drawing as outlined in the description of your chosen medium.
7. In the event of a rush order commission, an additional charge will be paid in full by the customer prior to the start of the project. The length of time for completion and delivery will vary depending on the art medium and size of the piece. Please refer to the descriptions of your chosen medium for completion time.
8. In the event that a rush order cannot be completed in the time promised, the rush order surcharge will be refunded to you in full. You may choose to cancel the commission and will not be required to pay the second half of the total price, or you may choose for me to complete the drawing at my own pace. In the event of the latter, you will still be expected to pay the remaining half of the total price before shipping.
9. In the event of approved cancellations or refunds, I retain the rights to complete and sell the piece to someone else.
10. I retain the rights to use images of both commissioned and ready-to-ship portraits on my website and social media for advertising purposes.
11. You may not use my art for profit or exchange of any kind, including, but not limited to, NFTs, retail, printing, or merchandising.
12. I do not work with ashes of the deceased. I will not draw adult content, gore, scat, dead animals, or other not safe for work subjects.
13. You acknowledge that I work a full-time job in addition to working as an artist and that unless you have paid extra for a rush order, it may be several weeks to a couple months before project completion, depending on the medium and my schedule. You may pay extra for a rush order if this is unacceptable to you.
14. You must read and sign or provide written agreement of these terms of service before I begin your art piece.
